The Mövenpick Hotel is located in the city centre, close to the famous Holstentor. It is only a five minute walk away from the main railway station in Lübeck and from the old part of the city.
The local arrangement committee of ALT/DS 2002 has made a special arrangement with the hotel for your accommodation. Please make your reservations directly with the hotel before October 10, 2002 to get the special rate of EUR 90 (single occupancy) or EUR 110 (double occupancy) (standard category) or of EUR 100 (single occupancy) or EUR 120 (double occupancy) (superior category). These prices include breakfast.
For making your reservation you need a fax form which will provide you, in particular, the reference Group. This fax form is sent to you after you have registered.

Getting to the conference site:There are several ways to reach Lübeck.
The airport at Hamburg offers various connections to international airports. From the airport, a bus shuttle is going to Hamburg main railway station.
Information about the trains running between Hamburg and Lübeck as well as between other cities and Lübeck is available online. Once you have reached the train station at Lübeck, please follow this map.
If you prefer to reach the conference site by car, take the Autobahn A1 running from Hamburg and Bremen to Lübeck and then further north to Puttgarten. Leave the A1 at the exit ``Lübeck-Zentrum'' and then follow the map.
Weather:Weather at the end of November is usually rapidly changing. It may be still not too cold and sunny, but it may be also cold and rainy. The average temperature is approximately 3 degrees Celsius.
